Can you send me fabric/wood samples?

Due to the amount of furniture we offer it is not possible to send out fabric swatches/wood samples. When possible we provide samples of the finish/fabrics on the item pages for you to view. Images have been tweaked to match their real life counterparts as closely as possible, but there will be some slight variation.

 

What is a lead time?

A lead time is the time it takes for a certain item to be manufactured & delivered to our warehouse. It will vary depending on the manufacturer and can be anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks. Lead times are approximate and can change, with the length of time either being reduced or extended.


What security do you have in place during checkout?

Our on-site checkout is encrypted with Camellia-256 256bit encryption. To ensure the checkout is secure look for the padlock icon on your browser. Payments are handled by SagePay (http://www.sagepay.com/) secure payment server.


What payment methods do you accept?

I'm not comfortable ordering online - can I order by phone?

Yes, you can place your order over the phone on 01788 561 029 during business hours. Please ensure you have to hand: Item (including sizes/finishes where appropriate) and price. We will verify the information is correct before placing your order.

 

What are the advantages of registering for an account?

Registered users will be able to:

  • View their order details including shipping/billing address, payment type, products and quantities ordered, shipping & tax amounts, transport method
  • Re-order previous orders
  • Manage newsletter subscriptions
  • Store multiple addresses
  • Review products
  • Manage your product wishlist
  • Subscribe to your order status by RSS
  • Print an invoice of your order

 

Guest users will not be able to do any of the above, including tracking their order status. It is recommended that you register during checkout to gain access to all these features - but is entirely optional.


How can I check the progress of my order?

If you registered an account then you can log-in and go to the "Account Dashboard" section and view your order & their status. If you did not register then you can send an email to sales@furnitureforyou.net

(please quote your order reference number) and ask. Google Checkout users will be able to send a status request via their own dashboard.

 

How do I use the side navigation?

The side navigation (known as Layered Navigation) is used to filter out products you don't want, and to help find products you do want. We have provided a fair amount of different attributes to help you narrow down your search to find your perfect product. Any filter is removable by clicking the X to the right of the filter name. The number shown in brackets shows the amount of products for a certain filter - based on the filters already chosen. The less filters previously selected the higher amount of products there will be. You will only be able to select one filter for each attribute, so you should have some idea of what you're looking for before starting.

 

Why don't the products shown match the filters?

If filtering by finish for example and you're shown a product with a different finish to you one you selected then you shouldn't worry. Some items are available in multiple finishes and as such will appear in 2 attribute options. If you selected Beech as a filter but are shown a wardrobe in white then it means the wardrobe is also available in beech. You will be able to verify this by viewing the product page and then seeing the product options. In some cases it may be a genuine mistake - in which case we would appreciate being notified as sales@furnitureforyou.net

What are these diagram images for?

To offer the greatest selection we are sometimes forced to use these diagram images as no real image of the product exists. However we ensure that any image which has a line diagram will have an item from the same range as a real picture. These are to compliment items which do have a proper picture but may not be exactly what a customer is looking for. If you don't wish to see these types of images they can be filtered out by selecting "Real Image" in the Image Type filter on the layered navigation panel. If you have purchased a product which has no real image we would greatly appreciate a picture of the final product for us to use on our website, we will ensure that your good deed doesn't go unrewarded. To allow easier browsing of the catalog pages we have disabled diagram images from being displayed - if you would like to see an entire range of a product you will need to use the search function.

 

What is the "Compare Products" feature?

This feature allows you to compare the attributes of multiple products to see which one fits your need the most. Using the compare products feature can save you time as product information is shown on one page - instead of having to view each product individually.

England: £25 (Midlands Area: £15)

Once we have your item in stock we aim for delivery within 7-10 days. Note that items are subject to the lead times shown on the item page.
